OUR ORGANISATION

Young at risk youth (particularly Indigenous youth), need intensive personal support to bring about positive change in their lives.

Role Models WA provides keynote speakers and leaders in sports and educational programs to assist organisations get in touch with Western Australian youth, particularly Indigenous youth, who suffer from poverty, sickness, misfortune or a disconnectedness from their community.

Sport and physical activity are the key elements in the formula which can bring about change to young people’s lives and their futures.

Sporting and community role models become essential mentors in the process to facilitate significant change for at risk young people. Engagement in education and training is the key to long term, successful change for young people.

Team members are selected for their individual skillset they can offer to the program or regions we plan to visit. More importantly all members have Working With Children Certificates and/or Police Clearances.
